Shirakawa-go

With Ephraim and Merri we ventured back to the Shirakawa-go, after a quick tour of Takayama and Furukawa. It was raining, which kept the hordes away a little and painted beautiful dewdrops on all the thatching. The mistress of the ryokan cooked the best salted river fish this side of, well, anywhere.
