Peach Melba
Sam's English club posed a difficult problem: cook some food that
a) is "Australian";
b) doesn't require an oven, sink, kitchen, etc.;
c) is cheap;
d) is sweet;
e) is quick to make.
We settled on Peach Melba, or our version of it, which basically consisted of ice cream, tinned peaches, jam and various chocolate-sprinkle-related toppings. We stuck an Australian flag in each one, and voila, a "traditional Australian food" was enjoyed by all.
