We're here...

WELL... here we are in Yokkaichi, after a few crazy days in Tokyo (hazy karaoke recollections) and a train journey over to Mie prefecture. Yokkaichi itself is, well, urban - but it seems like so is everywhere else. However we're close to the gems of the Kansai: on the weekend we hopped on the train to Nara and spent the day with deer, ancient temples, etc. Photos, hopefully, to follow. Our flat and our jobs are slowly coming together, after much to-ing and fro-ing getting bank accounts, alien registration cards, personal seals (seriously) and so on. If only it would stop raining for five minutes...
