The Sahara
Led by berber locals, we rode camels out into the Sahara at Erg Chebbi and camped in the dunes. The sunrise and sunset made incredible colours on the dunes, and the camels were very affable.
Todra Gorge
In the morning we hiked to visit a Berber family who live a traditional life: a wool tent in summer and caves in the winter. In the afternoon we walked through a Palmeraie and met some very cute boys who tried to teach Fiona Berber.
Ouarzazate
We visited Kasbah Taouirt at Ouarzazate in the baking desert heat. Moroccan nobles used this old fort to shut up their women and keep cool in the sun.
