We're up and running
OK, have finally got some photos posted. Below is a small selection of some of our recent travels in Japan. More to follow.
We have been travelling around on our weekends - have so far been to Kyoto, Nara, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nagoya and Hakusan. This morning we saw the red sunrise over Yokkaichi while returning from an expat party down south. On the weekend we ate salmon roe sushi with real gold flakes on it. Fiona has developed a disturbing and amusing Hello Kitty fetish, like everyone else in Japan. Sam is being mobbed by his female 16-year-old students at the train station. We even eat our broccoli with chopsticks.
