Seki

We visited the old, old town of Seki - surprisingly only an hour from us in our very own Mie prefecture. Seki was/is on the old Tokaido road, and still has a beautifully preserved stretch of old houses and shops. With Pearl in tow, we strolled up and down the very quiet streets, visited a gorgeous temple and some merchant houses, and ate traditional soba. The obligatory heads-in-cardboard-cutouts-photo was duly taken.
