Sitting out a typhoon

OK, we're currently sitting out "Typhoon Number 21" as they poetically call it here. The wind is roaring around our building and the rains are flooding most of the prefecture. At least there aren't any earth tremors.

Below are some photos of recent trips to Kanazawa, on the Japan Sea coast of Central Honshu, and Koya-san, a mountain Buddhist monastery complex in the Kansai.
